Overseeing the Church, the Bible Ministry and expecting Raphael all at the same time are making this year unforgettable. These are just some of God’s blessing in our lives.
New Life Baptist Church
About a year ago, Mr. E. and his family came to church—they are Pr. Sean’s and Pr. David’s neighbors. A few months ago they accepted Christ as their personal Savior and this past month I had the privilege of baptizing Mr. E. and his three teenage children. Tears came to his eyes as I shared with him the resemblance that his testimony has with that of the Philippian jailor. Praise the Lord for one more family that has chosen to follow the Lord.
Bible Ministry
Last week we fnally began printing the frst one-hundred thousand Portuguese Bibles with the new orthography. After months of preparation, the presses are fnally rolling. Praise the Lord for His Word. During the month of September we participated in South America’s largest Christian Fair. Our theme this year was the celebration of the AV’s four hundredth anniversary. With the partnership of Bible & Literature Missionary Foundation, we were able to give away hundreds of AV Bibles in this special celebration. This is also the year that the Trinitarian Bible Society celebrates one hundred and eighty years of existence. We simply have an old story to tell.
Raphael arrived!
Rejoice in the Lord with us—Raphael Rocha Gilmer arrived on October 1st, weighing 6,93 lbs. and measuring 18,9 inches. We are overwhelmed at God’s goodness—and he looks just like his daddy! Thank you for your prayers (click here to see the pictures).
