Dear Brethreren,

New Year Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am sending this Prayer Letter to you to ask for your prayers for our country’s present situation.

The Lord has been good all these years! Year 2011 is one of the fruitful years as well as it was a year of testing and trials in the Lord’s work. Our country has experienced devastation and disastrous calamities. It was indeed a year where many of my countrymen mourned for the lost of their properties and livings much more with the lost of their love ones. And there is more worst than that, it is the lost Hope to live.

Kind hearted people all over the world give and contributed to rebuild houses and homes. Material goods that they received are only temporary. Hopelessness is still in their heart. Our local churches here in the Philippines helped to bring that lost hope in peoples lives, sowing the seeds of hope from the word and from the love of God. They need to know that there is someone who can really give them the real Hope of eternal Life. We as one of the local churches here in the Philippines needs your prayers and assistance as we accomplish this great task of sowing the seeds of Hope.

Our church, The Mount Olives Baptist Church of Caloocan is responding to this task of reaching out to our own people. We can only do this with what the Lord has provided to His people.
