Dear Brethren,
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20-21).
Truly, the Lord is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think—and He does!
Team Church Planting
Several years ago, a piece of property in the Guarcuri neighborhood of São Paulo was donated for the start of a Church. We have prayed and labored toward the start of this Church, and this past month a very important step was taken—both New Life Baptist and Temple Baptist voted to donate this land to the Baptist Church of the Bible (a deaf ministry Church) which has met for years at Temple Baptist ́s facilities.
Baptist Church of the Bible will now seek to reach people in all walks of
life, as a solid Bible believing Church, in a densely populated neighborhood. Please pray as we seek to establish this Church in a team effort through the leading a national pastor and cooperation of fellow missionaries.
Bible Ministry
We just completed the printing of 125,000 New Testaments/Psalms and Proverbs with special covers geared towards those who daily endanger their lives for our protection, namely: the armed forces and the medical professionals. The first New Testament was given to nurse by my father, Dr. Thomas Gilmer, during his resent stay in the hospital for surgery on his arm (he fell and broke his wrist), and it resulted in the salvation of that nurse—Praise the Lord!
The Lord also gave us the opportunity to reprint the Evangelism Bible through a special partnership with Brazil ́s largest press. Please pray that this Bible may be used
in the salvation of many.
