Thank you so much for your gift just received. Childrens Day with the kids was just marvelous. The office and classroom construction has now started. New kitchen equipment is now in.
Last month I wrote you from Tlapa while we were there for a couple of weeks including Children’s Day. Before sending the letter, I placed it in a letter file. I then resent a letter written several years ago when the Teis family joined us for the same event. It was similar, but not the right one. My gall bladder surgery prayer request was especially untimely, since it has been out for years. My Bad!
While we were in Tlapa we replaced all of the pots and pans with shiny new stainless steel ones. A crooked cook had stolen their predecessors (We fired her, but were not able to get the pans back.) Large 10-30 gallon heavy gage stainless pots are expensive!
We also installed commercial deep fryers in both homes. We imported sheets for all of the beds in both homes and got them through airport customs without paying duty. A minor miracle!

P.S. Construction is underway for the office and class facility. Pray that we can stay in budget and that our faith will be increased for the need of about $8,000 for air-conditioning and furnishings. With months of 100 plus heat, I do not consider the air a luxury.
