Dear Friends:
You have been on my heart for some time. I prayed for you this morning. You have had a profound impact upon my life. At every stage of our ministry you have been faithful both in prayer and financial support. Thank you so much for your gift that the office just let me know about.
I have slowed down somewhat since my heart attack last year, but God has opened some wonderful doors in our ministry. We were in Spain in December, Israel for two weeks in February then back in Mexico for April and May. Pray that I will find time to write the book that has been brewing for years.
This month we will host the semi-annual business meeting of Mount Abarim. We are also hosting a week of training in communication skills for our field directors from Africa, Europe, Asia and our office directors. Dr. Lewis McClendon and his wife will be our instructors for this concentrated training. Toward the last of the month we will be in Las Vegas with Dr. Teis, then say a teary goodby to Bill and his family as they return to Mongolia on June 27. It has been like Heaven to enjoy our grandchildren for a year.
The ministry is growing all over the world. As you know, growth has it own peculiar set of challenges and since we lead people…we are often called upon to help solve problems that are borne by ignoring His principles. Come to think of it, all of my major problems have come from the same thing.
We now have affiliate missionaries on five continents and in thirty countries. The real purpose of this letter is to say thank you. Without you and a few others like you, who pray for us and have sacrificed on our behalf, we would have never been able to serve the Lord. Your reward will be great in Heaven.
