Rivers of Mercy Childrens Home

For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.

Dear Pastor and Church:

I would like to give thanks to MBMAI and pastor Mike Patterson for the invitation with all the expenses paid to attend the 47th Annual Foreign Field Conference of  Mount Abarim Baptist Mission International, with the theme “Until the Whole World Hears.”  It was wonderful to hear each preacher and missionary report.  There is no doubt that God is doing great things in the World, especially in missions World.  This encourages us to move forward, it is also a challenge to strive and improve the work the Lord has given us.

By the grace of God, children continue on with their studies, many of them came to the Children’s Home without basic education and could not read, but the mercy of God is reflected in their lives. Luis Angel, thanks to the Lord, has completed his studies at the elementary school and we are proud of him for his average of 9.6.  We ask for your prayers that God will give him wisdom to move forward in his studies and above all to continue to grow in the formation of the Gospel.

We have see much excitement as girls and young women of the Children’s Home glorify God with their voices, the choir of the Children’s Home becomes a reality from the desire to thanks God for His love and His infinite mercy.  Therefore the Children’s Home does not have a professional music teacher, so please pray for us so God will provide us the necessary resources for professional music help.

Special Needs:

We also want to ask you to pray for Maria Elena as she suffered a fall and broke her right arm.  Children and Children’s Home staff members do not have health insurance and we are in the process to have a medical clinic, where we will provide a comprehensive service to each of the children as prevention, diagnosis and medical emergencies.

We have the facilities, but just need medical equipment such as an examination table, medical instruments, autoclave, monitoring equipment, emergency equipment and a dental unit. The total cost is $16,000 (US).  Please pray with us that the Lord will provide for these specific needs.
