Samuel Appiah: July Update

Dear Partners in Ministry,

Greetings from Techiman, Ghana, West Africa.  I believe all is well with every one of you by His wonderful grace towards us.  I know this report should have been sent to you long ago, but the ministry has been very intense.  The Lord has blessed us with some major events through which many souls came to know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

It has not only been exciting to see many souls saved over here in our various ministries as a result of a visit from a team of Collage Students with Dr. & Mrs Reese from the Pensacola Christian Collage, and the Worth Baptist Church, in Ft. Worth, TX, led by Dr. Willie Weaver.  There is more to do by way of follow-ups and then getting to disciple them for Christ and getting them to join our church.  Recently, we spent the whole afternoon visiting with as many as we could.  It was really a blessing.

We had a very good Bible School Graduation, which was highly attended.  Pastor John Volante was the main speaker and Pastor Miguel Triano gave the charge.  What a blessing that was!!!  By God’s grace, I was able to invite many of my pastor friends in Ghana to the graduation.  If God wills, Pastor Peter Badu Agyemang will be commissioned to take care of the church at Bui and Pastor Godfred Takyi Amanfo to the work at New Krobo.

We presently have a college student visiting from the States.  We hope to take a missions trip with him to Bolgatanga in the Upper West Region of our country in early August.  Please, be in prayer with us.

We will soon be at Berekum for a Brong Ahafo Pastors Fellowship.  Pastor John Volante, Pastor Kwabena Gyamfi and myself will be speakers and to bring a challenge during our fellowship.  Please be in prayer with us.

If God wills, I will be presenting the gospel during the graduation ceremony here at our Kindergarten department (Calvary Baptist International School) at the end of the month.  The Parent Teacher Association has all been invited to the school.  I would appreciate your prayer support for saved souls and God’s will to be done during this ceremony.

By God’s grace, my family is doing very well in health.  We are very thankful to the Lord for His care over us and for His many blessings in our lives.  Thank you for your love and help in ministry here in Africa.  You are always a blessing to us.

In Christ,
Pastor Appiah Samuel & Family
