We praise God for another wonderful year of ministry. The Lord has been good and merciful toward our family, giving us the strength and many blessings as we serve Him.
We thank God for the privilege of serving in The Living Word Baptist Church in Cape Coast, Ghana. This is the church that we started in 2009. Our third year of ministry was full of activities in which we saw the hand of the Lord working unto salvation and edification. Our theme for the year was “That in all things he might have the preeminence” taken from Col. 1:18. We are convinced that if this is a reality in our hearts, homes and church, He will bless and can use us in the lives of others that live in darkness and need the Gospel.

We had a great time during our Third Anniversary Bible Conference where Pastor John Volante and Pastor James Peterson were the speakers. The Lord blessed us with a great attendance and 8 souls saved. It was a great time of encouragement as we observed the Lord’s Supper for the first time. Indeed, we can see how our church is growing not only numerically but also spiritually and physically in strength. What a blessing it is to see believers getting built up in the Word of God!
|With great joy and expectation, we planned our Easter service this year. We handed out hundreds of tracts and John and Romans in the city and asked God to give us abiding fruit. We truly saw God blessing our church efforts of bringing people to church to hear the Gospel. We had 193 in attendance, and 24 people coming to Christ that morning. It was a great service of victory as we celebrated the resurrection of our Savior. Some of them were baptized in the weeks following and now are faithful to the services. While we share the Gospel in our city and the villages surrounding our area through door to door evangelism and visitation, we also want to send the Gospel to the regions beyond us. By His grace, this year we started giving to missions. We are currently helping a missionary pastor ¡n Togo, and we were able also to help support a church planting work in Mali. The Lord allowed us to sell the land that we bought and later were not allowed to build on. We are earnestly praying that we would find a new lot in a better location so we can begin to build. We are having many problems and limitations in the school where we are currently meeting. Please pray with us that God would lead and provide for this urgent need.We returned to Mexico in September 2012 to renew our children’s passports because we have no Mexican embassy in West Africa. We have also used this time to visit some of our supporting churches. We have been struggling financially in the ministry in Ghana because our support has dropped since the time we came to the mission field. This trip home has also brought us a great expense, and we ask you to prayerfully consider helping us with this pressing need. Please see Brother Volante if you can help.We are praying and getting ready to go back to Ghana by the end of January of 2013. We thank all of you that have been praying for us and the ministry in Ghana. May the Lord richly bless you!Under His wings,
Third Anniversary Bible Conference
