My wife and I want to personally express our deepest thanks and sincere appreciation to every person who has sacrificially given to the Bethesda Children’s Home of Ghana, so that we could provide a place of love and care for these precious children. By the grace of God, all the children are doing well and are growing both spiritually and academically. Lord wiling, this year our oldest two boys. Prince and Evans, will graduate from Senior High School. Please pray for God’s clear direction in their lives as they seek His will in their need for further education. This year we have also had some trips to the hospital due to sickness in the home; but all and all, I would have to say it has been a good year for us health wise. Prince Owusu (younger Prince) is having some teeth problems and will need dental surgery as soon as we can get It scheduled.
With joy we can report that all of the children, save lithe Shalom & Kwabena (Papa), have placed their faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. We will remain faithful to teach these little ones and trust that God would give them better understanding as they continue to grow. This year we had the joy of seeing three of our children baptized: Atta Stephen, Kwabena Ebenezer and Felicia. We rejoice with them and thank God for their obedience.
We again want to express our sincere thanks to Bible Baptist Church in Chickasha. Oklahoma, for enabling us to drill a well for clean dependable drinking water and for the wonderful Christmas gifts they sent for the children. We were able to buy new.
Clothes for each child and two laptop computers to help us become better communicators with our sponsors. We also want to thank the Matthews family for the new generator to keep our well humming along even when power is off. We also thank Pastor Steve and Mrs. Michelle for helping us upgrade our van for ministry and sending the children back and forth to school.
May the Lord continue to enrich all of you while we await His soon return.
