Rom Ribeiro: April 2018 Prayer Letter
Dear Pastor and Brethren,
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Php. 4:19)
We do believe in the promise of Philippians 4:19; therefore, we ask you to pray for our family and for our church-planting ministry in Brazil. Roxanne, our youngest daughter, is battling several physical problems. She is undergoing medical exams to determine the causes and the best treatment for her situation. Please pray for her. She has been such a blessing in our music ministry.
We plan to resume the building of our new church in July. At least 70% of the structure is complete. We hope and pray that it will soon be finished because we have practically outgrown the rented facility. Our few Sunday School classrooms and the nursery are bursting at their seams. These (good) problems will be solved once we move into our own building. Pray that the Lord will continue to bless our fund raising and give us wisdom in every decision we make.
We keep Philippians 4:19 in mind as we ask you to pray for us. May the Lord bless you in a very special way and bless your ministry as well.
This month we are celebrating 15 years of Deaf Ministry at our first church in Goiânia. Missionary Carl Johnson, who established that ministry, trained strong leaders to take over so he could come establish a similar work in Ribeirão Preto. In fact, several deaf people from our new congregation went up to Goiânia, along with the Johnsons, to a deaf conference this past weekend. Pastor James Liebrecht, an American deaf pastor, was the special speaker.
In His Perfect Love,
Rom, Rachel, Rochelle & Roxanne Ribeiro
