Missionary in Training is a two-week program designed to help teens (ages 15-19) prepare for a lifetime of Christian ministry.

Requirements for MIT

This program is designed to help teens experience the mission field. For that reason, the following requirements are necessary:

1. The teen’s pastor must agree for the teen to be involved in the program. Without a sending church, missionaries cannot be Biblically sent.
2. Church leaders will be asked to submit recommendation forms. (Correspondence will be kept private)
3. Teens will be expected to raise some of the funds and should not expect their parents to pay their entire way.
4. Although this will be an enjoyable trip, it should not be considered a vacation. Everyone will be expected to help with various duties.

Please pray that God will use this program to help teens in their search for God’s will. We desire to help your teen on their spiritual journey.

The $100 registration fee should be sent to Mount Abarim by February 15, 2024. Once accepted into the program, teens should begin raising funds. A sample fundraising letter will be provided.

Total Cost is $1,500
not including traveling cost to join the group in DFW

May 1, 2024 $400

Note: a $100 late fee will be required for payments not made on time
