Harold and Lilian Gilmer – South America Director, Church Planter and Bible Translation in São Paulo, Brazil

Dear Brethren:
“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work”
(John 9:4).

Church Planting

We are very happy to report that since our last letter, five adults, three young people and twenty five children trusted Christ, for a total of thirty-three decisions. Praise the Lord!

In the month of June, we celebrated Sweetheart´s Day with a lovely meal and special guest speaker, which led to one salvation decision. We also just concluded two Good News Bible Clubs at two different locations in preparation for Vacation Bible School, with the salvation of both young people and children. We also celebrated Brother Uarlison and Grazi´s graduation from Bible Institute. It is such a joy to work alongside this precious couple and see them develop as he prepares for ordination and the pastorate of our Congregation.

Bible Ministry

Thank You! We are overwhelmed at the outpouring of support for the Bibles for Rio Grande do Sul. Thank you to all that are giving towards this great need. We were able to send last month 300 Bibles to 300 families that lost everything. Those who have visited Rio Grande do Sul right now say that it looks like a war zone. May the Lord use this situation to bring the people of this very spiritist state, to Him. We need to say Thank You as well for those that sent special offerings for our support. The Lord provides!
