“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” Psalm 100:4. We have so many reasons to be thankful to the Lord! Last Friday, September 20, we dedicated the auditorium, kitchen and restrooms at the farm to the Lord. These facilities will be a blessing for may reunions and preaching services for the Bethesda Children’s Home now and in the years to come. The auditorium was dedicated to the Lord in memory of my precious husband Dr. Mike Patterson.

Yesterday, the 21st, was the fifty-fifth anniversary of Bethesda Children’s Home. We enjoyed a morning of preaching and singing, followed by a delicious meal. Many alumni and parents of the children were present. Some received Christ as their Savior. I had the joy of leading one little girl to the Lord. We praise the Lord for all He has done in these fifty-five years. Thousands and thousands of children have heard the Gospel. It is thrilling to see alumni with their families in church each Sunday. it is also thrilling to hear of the Gospel being extended in the mountains.

Brother Miguel (Mike) Blancas is the new children’s home director. Brother Jonathan Arrellano is the school principal. They, together with their wives, fill their roles with joy and great dedication. We are so thankful the Lord has sent them to us. The Lord continues to send school teachers, also. Some of the teachers are willingly doubling their efforts to fulfill other staff needs as well. We thank the Lord for these dedicated servants.

God has blessed us with faithful contributors to this ministry throughout the years. What has been done for the honor and glory of the Lord in Tlapa would not have been possible without your help. The Lord has used you! Thank you ! The urgent need of $50,000 has almost been met. The Lord continues to bless with other provisions, like chairs for the new auditorium, as well. May the Lord richly recompense each of you!
