Dear Pastor and Brethren:

And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. (Ecl. 4:12)

The fourth church we established in the Midwest of Brazil commemorated its second anniversary with an evangelistic conference from October 25-27. At least eighty people visited the church for the first time, and we greatly rejoice over the 21 people who accepted Christ as their Savior. This is the result of much prayer and hard work. Eight thousand flyers were distributed and five hundred invitations were mailed out, but most of these visitors came as a result of personal invitations they received from the new members of the church. Praise the Lord!

Sean Lunday, a BIMI missionary, was the guest speaker, and his wife, Stephanie, provided special music for this conference. They found the church united in one single purpose: to reach lost souls, and they found a national pastor who is following the biblical philosophy we laid down for that church from the beginning. The Lord is really blessing Maranatha Baptist Temple of Aparecida de Goiânia.

We are halfway through our furlough here in the States. The Lord willing, we will return to Brazil in May of next year to establish a church in Ribeirão Preto in the Southeast of Brazil. We have traveled close to 20 thousand miles and plan to travel 20 thousand more miles by the end of this furlough visiting churches. Please pray for us. At this point, we have raised $15,800 for the new church.

Missions is a ministry of UNION! Without your help, we could not have established four churches in Brazil, a Bible institute, and a Christian school. You are a part of the threefold cord that is making our ministry possible. Thank you for your generosity and sacrifice for the sake of people you have not yet met.

In His Perfect Love,
Rom, Rachel, Rochelle & Roxanne Ribeiro
