Bill Patterson: May 2014 Prayer Letter

Dear Praying Friends:

Later this week, our family will have reached another milestone. Heather, our firstborn daughter, will graduate from Boulevard Baptist Christian School on May 16. A few days later, she will celebrate her 18th birthday. This year also marks our 20th wedding anniversary (June 17), and the 30th anniversary of preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ (October 14). In every step of this journey, God has been so good to us!

Translation News:

For the first nine days in May, I met with Bible translators in Spain for a time of intense work. By God’s grace, the work on the Spanish revision is progressing wonderfully. Regarding our Mongolian translation, Oyumaa’s health continues to improve. During this month, since we will be away from her, she has been working on the General Epistles.

Tlapa Children’s Homes Trip:

From June 2-10, I will be leading a team to the Bethesda Children’s Homes in Tlapa. While we are there, we plan to train our young people in using puppets to reach other children with the Gospel. We will be taking hundreds of tracts for distribution. Please pray that God will enable us to see many souls saved, lives changed, and youth trained to reach others with the Gospel.

Vehicle Need:

Praise the Lord for $4,000 that was received this last month toward the purchase of a van for our family! In one month, we will need to go back to Tennessee. Heather will be moving from there to college later in the summer. Please pray that God would show us His perfect will in this matter.
