Josefina McCoy: March 2016 Prayer Letter
Dear Brethren, Pastors, and Church,
May God’s grace be with you all. The amazing grace of God exceeds all our sin, and by grace we are saved!
It is a privilege to write and share with you all the wondrous works that God has been doing in the mountains of Guerrero among the Mixtec, Tlapanec, and Nahuatl tribes. We are witnessing to the harvest all that the Lord of the Harvest has done. My husband, Lyle, was not able to see all that God had in mind for this region. We give all the honor and glory to our loving Savior Jesus Christ!
On February 21, our dear sister Josefa Sanchez departed from this world to meet her Savior. Our sister was always faithful, by her husband’s side in Calpanapa, Peña de Venado, Llano Grande, Rio de Corazon, Llano de las Flores, San Juan Teconte, and Tototepec. In all these villages, the Believers are in mourning. When she would visit them she would always teach a children’s class and sing a special hymn with her husband, Pastor Florencio Sanchez. She wanted to be buried in the village of Calpanapa. Brother Florencio has been strengthened to go forward serving the living and true God. Please pray for him and his family.
As of today, we are in Acatepec, Guerrero. On March 13, we will celebrate the 12th Anniversary of the church in Calpanapa, and we look forward to being with our brethren there. Please pray for us.
Thank you so much for your prayers, and for your faithful financial support that you send every month. You may have never met Sister Josefa or many others who have been saved, but one day in Heaven, it will be my joy to present them to you. May God bless you according to His riches in Christ Jesus our Lord. Thank you for all you are doing for the indigenous tribes of Mexico.
Your servant,
Josefina, Abdiel, David and Josiah McCoy
