Manuel and Reina Diaz : May 2021 Prayer Letter

Manuel and Reina Diaz – Church Planter in Equatorial Guinea, Africa

DEAR BRETHREN, FLOCK OF GOD: MAY 2021

“ We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you 4 since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints, 5 for the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, where of ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel; “Colossians 1:3-5

We greet you all with joy in our hearts and we praise God that he allows us to continue faithful in his work in this place, always strengthening us with the prayers and support of the family in faith, showing us that his promises
are faithful, providing for every need, so that his work continue forward.

Thank God after three months of hard work we are using the church building for the services, little by little the brethren are returning to church after being scared by the explosions.

The situation due to the pandemic worsens and the restrictions are increasing, the classes in the school are still suspended and we are teaching some children at our house and others in a classroom at school, although not all of them since some were taken to their villages.

My wife organizes cooking activities with the young girls and they are learning how to make pizza and some desserts, it’s a blessing to see the interest they have to learn something different from what they are used to, it’s a great opportunity for them, since they do not attend to school.

Thank God the churches are still open, therefore we continue with our normal activities such as: bible clubs, youth meetings on Thursdays and on Sundays our service and soul winning reunions, giving more emphasis to soul winning.

The brethren continue faithful in the soul winning reunions, people are being saved and there is fruit, we pray and wait for God to give them the desire to continue growing. We continue obeying his word to go and preach the Gospel to every creature.

“I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.” 1Corinthians 3:6-7

We are very grateful for your love showed to the work in this place, through your prayers and financial support that you have sent us in this time of need, we have been blessed through you. God has encouraged and strengthen us through his love for his work that is carried out throughout the world, because of faithful churches who pray and give so that others will hear the true word of the Gospel.

Let us remain faithful, proclaiming the salvation in our Lord Jesus Christ; God bless you. Greetings and until next time.
