Manuel and Reina Diaz – Church Planter in Equatorial Guinea, Africa

DEAR BRETHRE, FLOCK OF GOD: APRIL 2022

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;” 1Peter 2:9

We thank our God for all the activities he allowed us to do during this month, it is a blessing to serve our Lord, obeying his command to announce his greatness in correspondence to the position he has given us before him.

The normal activities of the church continue, the Lord has given us fruit, with people receiving Christ and we have had visitor in our Sunday services.

The brethren continue to grow spiritually and faithful in the weekly soul winning visitation. We thank God for the youth who continue to show obedience to the Lord, carrying the Gospel.

The classes at the Mount Abarim Educational Center continue, this month we began the third quarter of the course and the children are very focused in learning not only their secular classes, but also the Word of God in the weekly chapel services every Friday.

The brethren willingly decided to clean and paint the church during
their vacations all this before celebrating Easter.

Thank God we celebrated Easter and the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, with services on Thursday, Friday and on Sunday at 6 o’clock and 9 o’clock in the morning, after the service we had a breakfast and we had a good fellowship. We would like to inform you about the hard situation we are living in the main cities of the country as there is a lot of juvenile delinquency, there is a gang of youth called “the eight machetes” who assault and kill people in broad daylight. The government has already taken action on the matter, to locate the neighborhoods where these gangs operate to stop them and in response the gang leaders revealed that there will be more violence now in schools with students.

But people have also had meetings in their neighborhoods and have declared war on these gangs saying that they will burn their homes and even them, if they continue with so much violence, since those who are being assaulted and killed are the poorest ones, who with sacrifice earn their daily livelihood Very difficult times are in sight, we ask you to pray for us, because the foreigners are the target of these gangs, but above all pray that we can win them for Christ.

Thank you to each one of you for your generosity, by making possible that the work God has been entrusted us continue forward in this place in so much need of the Gospel. Let us continue faithful until the coming of our Lord. Greetings and until next time.
