Harold and Lílian Gilmer : 2023 Annual Report (January 2024 Prayer Letter)

Dear Brethren:

“I press toward to mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:14).

If we are to lead people to walk with the Lord by faith, then by faith we must walk with the Lord ourselves. Anything less than that would be hypocrisy on our part!

Family – Yes, family continues to be our first ministry. Raphael is now in seventh and Danielle in fourth grade. I could not have asked the Lord for a better wife. I praise the Lord for Lilian! Rejoice with us that our support level is now at 71%. “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Church Planting – Why do we do what we do? It all boils down to one-person-at-a-time. That is the heart of the Great Commission. We are grateful to report that 138 people trusted Christ as their Savior last year! A very special thank you to Worth Baptist church for sending a Missions Team to help us with our Vacation Bible School and Evangelistic Outreach. Please pray with us as we prepare to purchase land for the Church, ordain a Pastor and officially organize New Life Baptist Church this year, the Lord wiling.

Bible Publication – By God’s Amazing Grace, the number of Bibles, New Testaments and individual Bible App users is over 220 million since the first Portuguese New Testament was printed 50 years ago! Truly, He “is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask of think.” to God be the glory!

The Lord allowed us to help Dr. Benny Beckum prepare his Intercessor Ministries Prayer Bible, for which I served as the project manager, entirely as a ministry. This Bible was typeset here in Brazil at the disign bureau we use for our own Bibles, and printed at the same press we use in South Korea.
