Josefina McCoy: Annual Report for 2021 (January 2022)
Josefina McCoy – Missionaries to the Indigenous Tribes of Mexico
Beloved Pastors and Churches,
How can we not be grateful to our God, when He went to the cross for us? Oh, how good God is, especially to us. We thank God for each of you that are being used of the Lord to be a blessing to us, for your prayers and your faithful financial support that has sustained us now for more than a decade. Thank you so very much! May God reward you and supply all that you need.
We are so thankful to the Lord for allowing us to serve Him by ministering to His servants in the mountains of Guerrero, Mexico. By His Grace, we are blessed when they are blessed! Our beloved pastors that speak Tlapanec, Mixtec, Nahuatl and Amuzgo have the courage that only God can grant His servants that proclaim His Word.
In Zilacayotitlan, God is working in a mighty way! God is raising a generation of young couples that are preparing themselves to preach His Word. Young people are being called into full time service. In Juanacatlan, God is at work also; there are five couples serving Him in that community. In Plan de Guadalupe, the pastor is a native of this place; there are seven different families that are serving the Lord in different locations. San Isidro Labrador has more than eight families in full time service. In Calpanapa, there are more than three families and several young people that faithfully serve the Lord through their music. I could mention more villages where there are couples, young people and families serving the Lord Jesus Christ with all of their heart. Why are we seeing this fruit? It is because the Lord has answered and used you through your prayers to change the lives of those in religious bondage to idolatry, traditions, and customs. Through your giving, God has given fruit that abounds and remains for His honor and glory!
We are so grateful for God’s love, care and provision for all of our needs. God has greatly used the McCoy family, and through his mercy it is our desire to be used by Him. We covet your prayers for the Gospel to be known in every village and municipality. There is still much work to be done. Thank you again for being used by the Lord! May the Lord richly and abundantly bless you. May He refresh your hearts!
Please pray with us for my sons Abdiel, David, and Josiah; for the pastors in the mountains; for souls to be saved, and for our needs. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers!
With love in Christ,
Josefina, Abdiel, David, and Josiah McCoy
