Becky Patterson and the Bethesda Homes : April 2026 Newsletter
Mrs. Becky Patterson – Missionary to Mexico
Bethesda Children’s Homes – Tlapa, Mexico

Dear Pastor and friends,
Our Children are returning to the children’s home this week after a couple of weeks in their villages for spring break. Several of them requested our prayers as they attempt to testify to their families. As you can imagine, sometimes that is a fearful thing for them to do, but we have also seen in the past how God has blessed such times. I am excited to hear their stories.
While they were gone, two of our staff members were married. There were two ceremonies. As required by Mexican law, first there was a civil ceremony before a judge, and two days later there was a beautiful wedding with Christian vows in the courtyard of the boys’ home. They are now living in a newly remodeled apartment for them at the boys’ home.
Last Sunday I was able to be part of the eighteenth anniversary of a church in Alpoyeca, a village less than an hour from Tlapa. Twice during the month, I have been able to speak to ladies groups. I have also loved helping our children in the classroom, as well as in the courtyard and Bible classes. I am preparing new lessons on the assurance of salvation to teach thirty of the older girls between now and June 12, the end of the school year. Please help me pray all these girls will leave here knowing without doubt Christ as their Savior.
Another exciting event this past month has been the privilege of obtaining Starlink internet. This has been a big improvement over what we had and also more economical. God says to give thanks for everything, and I am thankful for the improved internet! God is good!

Thank you for your faithful prayers and offerings. I constantly feel the need for prayer. I recognize I can do nothing of eternal value without my Lord’s help. Oh, how I want to used by Him to make an eternal impact in the hearts and lives of these children and their families! Oh, how I want to be a blessing to our staff!
Thank you for holding us up in your prayers.
Because He first loved us,
Becky Patterson
