Bill Patterson: February 2013 Prayer Letter
Dear Praying Friends:
Praise the Lord for His goodness, for His safety in travel, for His provision for the ministry, and for His power to serve! This has been an exciting month of great activity, and it is a blessing to share with you what the Lord has done. Thank you so much for being our prayer partners!
Mount Abarim Conference The 47th Annual Mount Abarim Foreign Field Conference was greatly blessed. In addition to being the best-attended meeting we have held, the speakers were greatly used of the Lord to minister to the needs of all present. One of the highlights was a retired missionary who gave a testimony that he will be going back into active service! The theme of the conference was “Influence,” and the meeting influenced many of us in a great way!
Mongolian Translation Update The Lord has allowed Dashka and I to finish Matthew 1-18. We hope to finish Matthew this month, and be able to start the final revision of Mark. Sambuu has finished his technical/grammatical revision of John, and is starting Romans. Oyumaa continues to translate Acts.
Family Update We believe that family is foundational for ministry. As a testimony of my parent’s faithfulness, all of my brothers and sisters met in Texas for the last day of the Mount Abarim conference. What a blessing to see them all again, and to share that special time with many dear friends. It was a total surprise for my parents, and they still rejoice in the memories made.
