Dear Praying Friends:

Thank you so very much for praying for us. God’s presence has been very real in the midst of some of the greatest storms and victories we have faced. Our hope in the Lord has been greatly strengthened!

Blessings from Mexico  The Lord allowed us to be in Mexico for two weeks last month. It was a special time for our two older children to see friends from church that were with them in the nursery! In addition to about twenty souls saved and two baptized, eight surrendered for full-time Christian service during the services. The Lord used this as a great time of encouragement!

Traveling Mercies This letter comes to you from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia! Due to my Dad’s health problems and new responsibilities at our Mission office, our family will not return to Mongolia until February 6, 2014. During these next four months, I will make a total of three trips for a total of eight weeks in Mongolia. This will allow me to keep the work going here and be available to help my Dad with the work of Mount Abarim. Please pray for great wisdom and good health.

Mongolian Project Update  A few hours after arriving in Mongolia, Dashka called to tell me that he was resigning from the translation team. Although all of us, including many close friends of his, are shocked, we know that God is in control. We have hired a another lady to be in the office with Oyumaa and I as we translate, so that we are never alone. Just today, I learned that Oyumaa now has thirty grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She has often told me that she wants to spend the rest of her life serving the Lord. We are currently finishing up our work in the Gospel of Mark. Please pray.

In Christ’s love,
Bill Patterson

PS We are currently in need of additional funds needed for unexpected travel expenses … each trip to Mongolia is around $2200. Please pray that God would supply for these needs.
