Dear Friends of Zion:

Thank you again for your faithfulness in giving and praying for our ministries, which helps us reach out to all Portuguese-speaking countries and even beyond.

How were the people that professed Christ last month reached? One, by YouTube, watching a service of Templo Batista de Indianópolis online; two at a barbershop, a former employee to whom we had witnessed for years and her husband, who came by to introduce their new baby; a cashier at the service station who had always been indifferent to my witness until that day; an elderly beggar at our gate who took my advice to register for a government pension and came back to thank me. One by one, sowing the Seed as we go.

Several years ago, Worth Baptist Church gave funds to cover the costs of preparing a 730-page Bible in Portuguese to provide a lower priced Bible and to promote daily Bible reading. “Just two pages a day! Read the Bible through in one year!” Harold Ralph did a great job typesetting and doing the prepress work. However, monies to print a large quantity to guarantee a lower cost per Bible were not available. Surprise of surprises! An ATHEIST publisher found out about the Bible from one of the printers we use and became interested. He felt it would sell! He ordered a printing of 50,000 copies, giving us 2,000 for our own use. With the sales of the 2,000, we will print more Bibles. The other 48,000 are now available in bookstores everywhere. This shows how we are able to put out nearly two million Bibles a year, by working through the printing, publishing and bookstore industry, using their monies to get the Bibles printed and out into the
marketplace. We make the Bible readily available in order to publish the maximum number of copies possible. I hope to meet this ATHEIST shortly and try to win him to the LORD!

3. New supporter for Harold Ralph and Lílian.
4. Bible Study Help: publisher requested Harold Ralph prepare a new edition of our Exhaustive Concordance with Hebrew and Greek dictionary using Strong’s numbering system.
   

PRAYER:

1. Salvation decisions: Jews and Gentiles.
2. Projects (Bible study helps, both media and printed, larger warehouse for Bibles).
3. Full support for Harold Ralph Gilmer.
4. Functional alphabetization groups.
