Bill and Marcy Patterson – MABMI President, Church Planter, Bible Translator

Bible Translations: The Lord continues to bless the Mongolian translation team as they work on the Old Testament. At present, over 75% of the initial translation work has been completed. The Lord allowed us attend the launch of a new revision of the Spanish Bible, on which Bill has been working since 2006. Several of our students are working on their own Bible translation projects in Panama, Mexico, Ghana, and India!

Family News: Heather and Joe Reyes are expecting our first grandchild! Ryan loves his job in digital marketing, and Tricia and Jared Poledna are serving on staff at Lancaster Baptist Church and West Coast Baptist College. Marcy and I are grateful to the Lord for His blessings.

Bethesda Children’s Homes: During the last year, we have undertaken fifty major projects at the home, of which thirty-six are now complete. We Have 134 children, and we have added 4 more to our staff.

Training News: During our MIT (Missionary-in-Training program), the Lord allowed us to take 11 youth and 6 adults. Twenty souls made professions of faith in Christ, and several teens led their first soul to Christ. It was wonderful!

Year-end Statistics: The Lord allowed me to teach or preach 485 times, minister in 8 countries, see over 300 saved, and be a part of training just over 300 students. Ten new missionary families have joined Mount Abarim in seven different countries!
