Harold and Lilian Gilmer – South America Director, Church Planter and Bible Translation in São Paulo, Brazil

Dear Brethren:
“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void . . . (Isaiah 55:11a).

Bearing Fruit . . .
Vacation Bible School is the highlight of our year, reaching out to the children in our community. By God´s grace, thirty-two children called on the Lord for salvation. The Lord is good!

Our new building is now 85% complete—the Lord willing, we will have the inaugural service at the end of September. Please continue to pray for provision for this final stage, which seems to have no end. The Lord provides!

In Brazil, Father´s Day is celebrated in August. This year we held a BBQ for the men at the new building and celebrated by painting, getting ready for the move. It was wonderful seeing the men come together and work so joyfully. Fellow missionary John Leonard brought the devotional for the day. The Leonards are such a blessing to this ministry! Teamwork does make the dream
work, after all.

and Sowing the Seed!
The whole point of sowing the seed is for continuity and expansion. By working alone, one will but till his own garden; by working together, entire fields can be sown.

By God´s grace, we provide the Portuguese Bible text to Bible and Literature Missionary Foundation, BEAMS, and all Bearing Precious Seed type ministries, besides assisting them in the importation and distribution of these Bibles and Scripture portions in Brazil. We are currently setting up Scripture
distribution points in key Churches around Brazil, that can reach Pastors and Churches in their area. We are so grateful for the partnerships that the Lord has given us!
