Dear Prayer Partners,

We are thankful for your prayers and support for the work the Lord has given us here in the state of Maine, primarily in the ministry on Mount Desert Island.  

Since our last letter, we have had special meetings with Evangelist Craig Cobb for one Sunday and a three-day meeting with Evangelist Tim McVey.  We also held a Saturday meeting with three different pastors from around the state.  Each one preached to our church and visitors.  

In the past two months, our church members have achieved new goals in distributing Gospel tracts.  We continue to preach and instruct the saints from the King James Bible and provide sound reading materials with required reading as part of our Adult Sunday School.  Please pray for their continued spiritual growth. 

As I write this, I am reminded of how quickly this life passes by.  Today, I will attend the funeral service of my older brother, David, who has gone home at almost the age of 70.  His life’s pilgrimage is over, too soon in my eyes, but right on time in the Lord’s eyes.  I remember being with him in an evangelistic meeting that was held in the Armory of our state capital in the winter of 1969.  There he professed his faith in Jesus Christ.  My desire is to be found faithful and in love with the Savior when my days on earth will end!

Prayer Requests:

1)  Bill, my nephew, for salvation along with other family members.
2)  The Lord’s blessings on the Gospel literature that goes out.
3)  That more men would answer the call to preach.
4)  God’s grace for the wife and children of my brother during this season.
