Josephina McCoy: August 2013 Update

Dear Pastor and Friends,

The Lord has continued to bless our ministry in the mountains of Mexico.

This year, a new work has begun in the village of Rio de Corazon.  Two people there have recently been saved.  The members have started to build the church walls, and are praying that the Lord will supply tin for the roof, which is the most expensive part of the building.  This work is led by Brother Florencio Sanchez.

A family of seven accepted Christ as Savior in the church of Llano de las Flores.  Two have also been saved in the village of Pena de Venado.

Please pray for a 24-year old young lady in the church in Tepeyac.   She has served the Lord as a children’s Sunday School teacher.  About a year ago, she began having terrible headaches.  She went to the doctor and then to the hospital in the city of Puebla.  After months of treatment, she is now dying of cancer.  Please pray for her and her family.

The children and I are doing well.  We thank the Lord for his protection here in Mexico.  We are grateful for your continued prayers and support.

Yours in Christ,
Josefina McCoy, Abdiel, David and Josiah McCoy
