Marlon and Kareen Jumawan – Missionary and Church Planter in Philippines

Dear Pastor and Praying Friends,

I am very eager to give an account of all the exciting events and happenings at the Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church, Toledo City from last April to this month of August.

My family and I personally were so thrilled and encouraged by the visitors that we had–especially my Pastor in Hawaii as our main speaker at our 3rd Men’s Conference. It is very uplifting to see some of our good friends also from the US. In between these major events are our regular church activities:

April 2023
– 7th Church Anniversary & Easter Cantata
– a friend from Friendship Baptist Church visited
May 2023
– 3rd Annual Men’s Conference with Pastor and Mrs. Reid from Friendship Baptist Church
June 2023
– 3rd Annual Bible Study Summit
– friends from North Valley Baptist Church visited
July 2023
– 3rd Annual One Big Day
– Dedication Sunday (God has added 5 babies in the church)
August 2023
– Lighthouse Bible Baptist College 2nd Semester (6 students enrolled)
– August 7, started church building in the lot God has given to us
– 3rd Annual SWAT Conference

One prayer request that I want you all to heavily partner with us in prayer is the start of our building construction. We don’t have the whole budget and we are doing it by faith as a church with the schedule to move out on November 19 from the temporary location that we are now using. The owner of the property will use it for business by then.

Please commit time to help us pray that our church will see another great miracle. I am thanking God for your willingness to be used in supporting the ministry and my family. God bless!
