Gabriel and Fabianny Batista – Missionaries in Ecuador

Dear Pastor and Church,

Receive friendly greetings for the Batista family, Venezuelan Missionaries in the city of Quito, Ecuador.

We thank God for what he has allowed us to do during the year 2023 as we continue serving at the Faith Baptist Church in Quito. We have maintained all the activities every week, on Mondays we have Bible study time and on Wednesdays we have prayer service.

On Saturdays we go out to share the Gospel and reach people for Christ. On Sundays, we have Sunday school and preaching service. We also started having a young ladies’ meeting once a month and a workshop for couples every two weeks. People have made the decision to be baptized, thus demonstrating their faith in Christ.

In the month of April, we held our Missions Conference where every year we add a missionary to support, and we currently support seven missionaries. In addition, we have carried out special services during the year, for Mother’s Day, Children’s Day and Father’s Day. We had Family Camp in the month of August. We extended our auditorium into the garage.

In the month of September, we celebrated eight years as a church. We had a special service with some first time visitors. Finally, we ended the year with a Christmas and New Year’s Eve service, encouraging the church to continue to be faithful and committed to the service of the Lord.

We ask for your prayers, so that we can be able to dedicate ourselves full-time to the Work of God. Since we arrived in the country almost seven years ago, we have been working secularly for our livelihood and continue to do so. Due to the different responsibilities, we have not been able to present the ministry in other churches. That had affected us in terms of our time to ministry and family time as well as our physical condition. We are facing health problems, muscle discomfort in the back, and joint injury as a result of the exhaustion and physical wear and tear we have had.

In spite of everything….God has always been Good and Faithful.
